The Tours
Rockin’ Downtown Loop (3 to 6 mile options)
Full of Memphis’ best-known sites, the Rockin’ Downtown Loop starts at The Peabody Hotel in the heart of Downtown Memphis and will wind you through the South Main Historic District, past the National Civil Rights Museum, past Cotton Row and down Beale Street. For the longer route, we'll include a quick photo opp at Sun Studio and then back downtown via the Midtown trolley line. Finish your run on the bluff overlooking the mighty Mississippi River.
Midtown Hipster Run (3 to 6 mile options)
Most people who visit Memphis never see the gem that is Midtown Memphis. Home to Johnny Cash in the first few years of his music career, Midtown offers an eclectic mix of historic and trendy sites. From the Cooper-Young district to beautiful homes found in the Central Gardens and Evergreen Historic Districts to beautiful Overton Park, the Midtown Hipster Run is perfect for people who want to see sights off the beaten path.
Mel's Civil War History Run (5 miles)
The Mississippi River bluffs saw the First Battle of Memphis during the Civil War in 1862. Throughout downtown there are still many images of the war making this run a perfect match for Civil War history buffs - or those just interested in learning something new about our great city. Starting at Tom Lee Park on the river, your tour will wind its way through downtown, past the beautiful Victorian Village Civil War-era homes, past monuments, burial grounds and more. Your guide will tell you more about some of the hidden secrets from the Civil War including key dates, turning points and reasons why Memphis was such a key city during the war.
Downtown or Midtown Pub Run (3 to 4 miles)
You're in Memphis - a place known for its Blues, barbecue and good times. What's the best way to start your night on the town? A pub run, of course! Your guide will take you to some of Memphis' best watering holes along a three or four mile tour, including stops in Historic South Main District and Beale Street downtown and the Cooper-Young District and Overton Square in Midtown - maybe some others along the way. Both the Downtown and Midtown tours include great stops and the chance to sample some of Memphis' very own micro brews from Ghost River Brewing Company and Boscos. Pub runs are custom designed, so if you're interested in a pub run (or even a pub crawl if walking is your preference), email us directly to book.
Don’t see what you need here? Give us a call, and we’ll create a run that works for you! There are some amazing trail runs and green spaces to see. We're up for anything. We even offer a great return customer option for business travelers and frequent visitors to Memphis.
